“I believe nothing is truly concrete. Everything in and around us is always on the move, even if it takes longer then a human life to notice it.” Opening a stone by hand is like opening a very old book. ‘Open stone’ is both an auditive and visual experience. Curated by Vrijstaat-O, Steur created this in situ work that resulted in an object of contrast; it was opened up and left behind in between the old German concrete bunkers at Raversyde Oostende.
